TrueNoord has announced the appointment of three experienced professionals to further complement their team of experts across Europe and Singapore.

Brendan Dempsey

Based at TrueNoord’s Amsterdam office, Brendan Dempsey recently joined in the role of Finance Manager. With over ten years of experience in the aircraft leasing sector, he began his career in the financial services tax department at KPMG in Ireland before joining the finance teams at AMCK Aviation and AIP Capital. His other credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina. He attributes TrueNoord’s impressive reputation to his decision to join the team. “TrueNoord has a strong track record in the regional jet space within the leasing industry, and the finance team are well regarded among industry peers.”

Dempsey has extensive experience in managing month-end reporting, preparation of financial statements under different accounting standards as well as managing multiple audit processes, debt reporting, and tax advisory projects. He adds, “I’m pleased to bring my broad finance expertise and knowledge of the leasing industry to TrueNoord in this exciting period of growth.”

Marlous Helderman

Marlous Helderman rejoins the team following a previous interim role with TrueNoord, she explains why she wanted to come back. “It’s the people. The diverse group of people we work with, the energy and the genuine passion they have for what they do. I love being surrounded by colleagues who truly care about their work and about each other.”

With experience in HR consultancy and organisational development, Helderman brings a combination of human resources expertise and a legal background from her previous roles, allowing her to connect people, culture and performance. She adds, “I’m excited to contribute to TrueNoord’s next phase of growth and help to further strengthen its working environment where people thrive, feel recognised and enjoy coming to work every day.”

Michelle Kilcoyne

Joining TrueNoord’s Dublin team in the position of Risk Analyst is Michelle Kilcoyne who previously worked at Allied Irish Banks (AIB) as a Senior Analyst in their Climate Capital division. She comments, “I’m excited to bring the learnings and foundations that I have built at AIB thus far to TrueNoord.”

Kilcoyne says it was TrueNoord’s achievements that attracted her to the role. “The Company is highly reputable and has a strong track record in the regional aircraft sector, having recently scaled to a fleet of over 100 aircraft. It has been growing rapidly over the last 10 years and continues to have ambitious targets for the future. I’m pleased to be part of TrueNoord’s continued success and work towards the next business milestones.”

Anne-Bart Tieleman, TrueNoord CEO, adds, “We have an exceptional team and it is a point of pride for us all that we continue to attract the best talent from across our industry and beyond. We are very pleased to welcome Brendan, Marlous and Michelle to TrueNoord and appreciate the enthusiasm, knowledge and professionalism they have already brought to their new roles.”
